The MRP department is responsible for  P&L of spare parts, accessories, riding gear, sportswear, merchandising, licensing and partnership, as well as for the development of the retail sales besides the conventional motorcycle dealer network.  Travel retail, corporate customers and on-line shop are the most relevant channels.

As director of the business unit, I have direct responsibility of the product and  of the sales and marketing operations.  I have functional responsibility over supply chain, parts purchasing and accessory development.

The growth of the business through the introduction of innovative products and services as well as the support of the iconic lifestyle positioning of the Ducati brand are the challenges associated to my role.

Inspiring change, being uncompromising on quality, enabling people to express and enjoy their full potential: these are the drivers of my management style.

Reporting to the CEO - as a member of Ducati’s Management Committee - the daily involvement in the general management of the company allowed me to develop holistic business understanding and strong problem solving skills.

 The management on a global scale of the Ducati brand and product portfolio as well as the creation of shareholders’ value through the development of profitable long term customer relationships were the core of my job position.

The rebranding of Ducati, the growth of the global market share from 5.2% in 2007 to 10,6% in 2013, the successful market introduction of revolutionary motorcycles and the creation of a structured multi-channel CRM are tangible achievements of my commitment. 

 

The brand and marketing team I led, had responsibility over:
